Festivals

Festivals are celebrated with pleasure in Greece. It is a must for every Greece lover to take part at a traditional village party. Twice the season there are festivals in Liapades: Greek live music, lamb of the spit and Greek dance - everybody gets warmly around the heart.

Highlights are the Greek Easter Festival with the traditional relocation in the place, a festival in the entrance to the town at Maria Ascension (14.8.) plus some traditional concerts in summer.

Except the traditional village festivals there are Greek Nights organised for costumers. Some taverns offer once weekly an arrangement. A traditional group from the village is dancing for the guests and ask for dancing together. Everybody who likes local audience at these evenings are to be recommended in the "Cricketer tavern" (Liapades Beach Hotel).
