Liapades Village

Liapades is one of the nicest and traditional villages of Corfu, approx. 20 km from Corfu town, on the north west coast of the island.

With its small foot paths and its very typical Greek square, the "Platia", Liapades is a place for guests, who want to escape from the consumers tourism to the relaxing holiday domicile.

Liapades offers for every bodies wishes a little bit. For all, who love Greece, the traditional village with its cafés and small shops - for the hungry for sun  the Liapades Beach complex, with lodgings, publicly pools, taverns and of course the dreamlike nature beaches accessible on foot.

  It´s only a few minutes walk  from the Cricketer Tavern but it is a steep walk. There are several routes, small paths, and if you are happy to find the road there will be plenty of old ladies sitting on their steps, chatting. Ask for “platea” in Greek, that means square and they will be very happy to help you. Once you reach the village square you can sit at one of the about eight coffee bars with all the local and experience the greek way of life.
